Radio studios: description and technical specifications
Estonian Public Broadcasting production department has two radio studios available for hire in Tallinn, Estonia.
Estonian Public Broadcasting Radio Studio 1
Studio 1 is intended for recording music ranging from chamber to orchestral. The studio acoustics work particularly well with string and brass instruments as well as choirs. When the acoustics are adjusted (curtain), the room is suitable for big bands as well. The studio also has boxes for pianos, drums and 3 vocal/solo boths. The control room at Studio 1 is equipped with SSL Duality delta console and various outboard equpiment including tube preamps, compressors and Lexicon 960L effects machine. Monitoring setup includes Genelec 1037 5.1 surround monitoring, Neumann O310 and Yamaha NS10 nearfields. Main recording system is Mac Pro equipped with Pro Tools Ultimate, UAD2 satellite and Waves bundle.

Estonian Public Broadcasting Radio Studio 2
Studio 2 is mostly intended for recording bands and smaller ensembles. The studio also has 4 booths for various instrumental or vocal use. The studio includes a 56-input Pro Tools HD10 system with a Digidesign ICON controller and a 5.1 surround sound K&H O310 for monitoring. Outboard equipment includes 8 channels of tube preamps and various outboard preamps and compressors.
